International Foods 9/10 - Global Food Production
Big ideas: Health, economic, and environmental factors influence availability and choice of food in personal, local, and global contexts. There are ethical issues related to food.

You will develop an inquiry question that addresses the big ideas above, in groups of three. Your question will be open-ended and meaningful. It must be a higher-level question that requires deep thinking and has no right or wrong answer. You will research and present your findings to the class.

Day 1: Exploring ideas and gaining background knowledge. 
Day 2: Group development of inquiry question & submits it to teachers. Project management log. Refocus and continue research. 
Days 3-5: Continuation of research. Daily entries into Project Management Log. Check-ins with teachers to ensure project is on-track.
Days 6-7: Finalize presentations with visuals and works cited. 
Final step: Student reflection ​
